Q&A with Chris (12 June)

Graham: Is there anything you want to add to yesterday’s interview?

Chris: In terms of my hopes, I hope that Tekel will put a smile on 100 people’s faces.

[Ed: Whilst cycling today we renamed TK as Tekel. Tekkel means sausage dog in Dutch. KT/Tekel did not get any say in the matter]

Graham: What have you learned so far?

Chris: Southern Germany is beautiful.

That rain can turn into sunshine.

Padded cycle pants make for a great cycling holiday.

Suddenly, the tables are turned. Chris has asked Graham the same question.

Graham: It was difficult transporting the tandem ourselves from Paris to Donaueschingen.

Google gets things wrong. It led us on an AI-inspired, Art-House road movie down a long road to nowhere. Not only that, it diverted us off one of the most well-known cycle routes in Europe in order to take us there.

The people who we have met are really nice and a lot of them want to talk about Brexit.
